The most important thing you must know about healing is that God wants you healed! The redemptive work of Jesus on the cross has already made provisions for you and me to experience health, prosperity, and wholeness. ” Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in good health, even as your soul prospereth.” 3 John 1.2. Healing virtue flows only from God according to Mark 5:28 “If I may only touch the hem of His garment, I shall be made whole.” This is the account of the woman who suffered from the issue of blood for twelve long years and spent all she had on physicians who could not heal her. Her encounter with Jesus, hallelujah, restored her to health and wholeness with just one touch! “Bless the Lord, Oh my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all our iniquities, and heals all our diseases, who redeems our lives from the pit, who crowns us with his steadfast love and mercy, who satisfies us with good so that our youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” Psalm 103:2-5
We must receive our healing by faith, “For He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes, we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5. Did you notice the words are healed in this passage of scripture? This work has already been completed on the cross. We must stretch our faith and believe in it. We serve a faithful Father and friend who wants us to know, whether we are faced with a physical illness or an emotional trauma. God promises to comfort us in our distress and faith is a required element in that process. “But without faith, it is impossible to please Him, he that comes to God must believe that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6. In several instances, Jesus, as depicted in the New Testament, commended individuals for their faith and attributed it to their healing. I decree and declare that I like Enoch, have a testimony that I please God through my faith. ” Hebrews 11:5.
Please boldly, activate your faith and say to any mountain of sickness, trauma, or disease, “Be removed and cast into the sea.”Nothing will be impossible for you. (Matt.17:20). Because the Lord has anointed me, I exercise my faith and refuse to doubt. I speak to any spirit of infirmity and curse it at the root. In Jesus’ Name! We as believers, “stagger not at the promises of God through unbelief, but stand strong in the faith, giving glory to God.” Romans 4:20.
In addition to faith, scripture emphasizes the importance of prayer and seeking God’s guidance in times of illness or suffering. The Bible encourages believers to bring their requests before God, seeking his intervention and healing. It also encourages us to seek wisdom, Godly counsel, and support from fellow believers, prayer warriors, and pastors.
Ultimately, the most important aspect of healing from scripture is the belief in God’s power to do so. Through your faith, and the understanding that healing encompasses not only physical well-being but also emotional and spiritual restoration as well.

Marriage can be a beautiful union, when designed God’s way! Although, it can be a challenging journey, when there is opposition from Satan and the various forces he uses to weaken our foundation. “Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it, build it in vain…”Psalm 127:1. During our twenty-three-years of marriage, my husband and I withstood many challenges by relying on our faith in God. I would love to tell you our marriage has been bliss and always sweet, but we’ve had our share of sunshine, rain, heartaches and pain just like everybody else. What do you do as a couple? How do you survive it all? In many cases, we learned first hand how to build a strong foundation through faith. We learned one struggle at a time, how to search the scriptures to find the promises that God’s word spoke to us concerning our situation, rather than believing what we were seeing at that moment. We stretched our faith and began to work on our mindsets. “Do not be conformed to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is- His good, pleasing and perfect will for your life.” Romans 12:2. We gleamed from scriptures that would provide guidance and support to navigate those tough times in our marriage. We were able to build on our faith in God, which provided us with the strength to persevere through our storms. We learned to speak ” Grace, great Grace to the mountains!” Zechariah 4:7 and “Peace! Be still!” Mark 4: 39. As a couple, we began to draw closer to God, then closer to each other. God began to work through the Holy Spirit in me first, the path of least resistance, then my husband. Through scripture I was trained, by the Holy Spirit, and by many teachings in the area of Spiritual Warfare. As we united our faith and stood together in unity, God bestowed upon us a Commanded Blessing! Psalms133:1-3. As our prayer life became stronger, so did our prayers! The “anointing to destroy” evil yokes began to manifest itself in our lives, Praise God! The more time we intentionally spent in the presence of God, He began to transform us both. God is patient with us “He makes all things beautiful in His time.” Ecclesiastes 3:11. Attending church alone was not enough, prayer alone was not enough, but when we added fasting and prayer together, it was a real game changer, we became a force together against the real enemy! The old way of thinking had become new, how we talked, walked and represented the Kingdom of God was now our priority. We understood that faith and patience were required. James 1:4 says ” but let patience have its perfect work.” We made a committment against all odds that “As for me and my house we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15. Through our renewed faith, we were able to overcome many obstacles and challenges that could have easily destroyed our marriage. But God, in His infinite wisdom had mercy upon us! Romans 9:15 says “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and compassion on whom I have compassion.” Ultimately, His love for us prevailed and provided us with the endurance to build a stronger, lasting marriage and to help equip others to do the same!
Today, imagine waiting in a long line to be served, when you are starving, and you can smell the food, but it’s not yet in view. This experience can also feel sometimes like waiting for the Lord to answer our prayers. In our world today, most necessities in life can be obtained rather quickly, but in the Bible, waiting upon the Lord is often associated with an attitude of trust, patience, and dependence on God and His timing. “But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” James 1:4. We must demonstrate, not only, our faith, but our patience as well. It involves a willingness to surrender our own plans and desires to God’s will and His own perfect timing, a time to seek His guidance and strength in all things. Throughout scripture, we can find God’s plans to guide us safely down that pathway, which leads us ultimately to victory and Him. If only we’re willing to wait…”If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land.” Isaiah 1:19.
Below are some powerful ways to build a fortress around your mind and your prayers:
By following these scriptural principles, we can successfully wait upon the Lord in a way that honors Him and allows us to experience His presence, peace, and guidance in our lives. Wait again, I say upon the LORD!

God is faithful to His word and He watches over it to perform it. When we pray according to His will, we can be confident that He hears us and answers us. 1 John 5:14-15. But sometimes we need to enforce what we have prayed by speaking His word with authority and resisting the enemy’s lies. Jeremiah 1:12 says “God hastens His word to perform it.” That means He is eager and swift to fulfill His promises. We can cooperate with Him by declaring His word over our lives and situations, and by standing firm in faith until we see its manifestation in our lives.
“Let us hold fast to the confession of our faith without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.” Hebrews 10:23. These scriptures have propelled me to stretch my faith in God during some very unpredictable times in my life, but God was not only at work during those times, I later learned, He was pruning me and building my spiritual character and muscle. Strengthening my Faith in Him, so I would have a memory of His track record the next time I faced difficulty.
“Faith, mind you, is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not yet seen.” Hebrews 11:1. We are instructed, nevertheless, to make declarations and decrees according to scripture in FAITH. We must strengthen our convictions and subject our minds to the Holy Spirit (Romans 12:2) and believe that we are the righteousness of God (Roman3;22) and it is His will to prosper His children. Joshua 1:8
Let me encourage you to trust God, although it may not seem easy right now, the Holy Spirit will help you. “Hope in the Lord, let your soul find rest in Him; our hope comes from Him. Truly He is our rock and our salvation; He is our fortress, We will not be shaken.” Psalm 62:5-6.
We must only believe..

Sometimes life throws us curveballs that we don’t expect or understand. We may face challenges, losses, disappointments, or hardships that extremely test our faith and trust in God. We may wonder why He allows such things to happen to us or to those we love. It can cause feelings of anger, confusion, and hopelessness. Such despair can cause one to question His goodness, His power, or even His love.
But in those moments of doubt and despair, let me encourage you to keep worshipping Him! Worship is not just singing songs or saying prayers. Worship is acknowledging who God is and what He has done for us, through His son, Christ Jesus on the cross. Worship is expressing our love, gratitude, and reverence for Him. Worship is aligning our hearts and minds with His will and His ways. “God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.” John 4:24.
When we worship God, even when we don’t understand, we are submitting to His authority and wisdom by declaring that He is sovereign, faithful, and good. We are affirming that He knows what He is doing and that ” He has a purpose and a plan for our lives.” Jeremiah 29:11. We are trusting that He is working all things together for our good and His glory. Romans 8:28
Worshipping God invites us into His presence and His peace. Psalm 16:11. He promises to be with us always, especially during our struggles. “I will never leave you, nor forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5. Our worship experience comforts us with His love and His grace. He strengthens us with His power and His ultimate joy! “For the joy of the Lord is our strength.” Nehemiah 8:10. His magnificent hope and assurance in great abundance can’t be denied through scripture as we worship in His presence.
Worshipping God in the midst of our trials also helps us to grow in our faith and our character. He uses our difficulties to refine us and to make us more like Jesus. He teaches us to depend on Him and to rely on the promises in His word. “To take courage! Do not be weak, for your work shall be rewarded.” 2 Chronicles15:7. He challenges us to persevere and to overcome… “even to your old age I am He, and to gray hairs I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear; I will carry and will save you.” Isaiah 46:4. Through this worship experience we find transformation that brings us more into His image and His likeness. Now that we are in Christ, the old has passed away; behold all things have become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17
So let us keep worshipping God, even when we don’t understand. Let us continue to praise Him for who He is and what He has done. Let us thank Him for what He is doing and what He will do. Let us honor Him with our lives and our choices. Let us give Him glory with our words and our actions. “Worthy are you, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.” Revelation 4:11
“For nothing shall be impossible with God.” Luke 1:37. He is worthy of our worship, both now and forever. “Now unto Him who is able to do far more abundantly than we can ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus, throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” Ephesians 3:20-21.
